Why is this important? Lets begin here, Why am i writing this? Well because neurodivergence is something that is really important to me. As someone who is neurodivergent myself sometimes i see that people will often avoid weddings, or not stay the whole time, etc because maybe they feel they’re to much. What do I mean by too much? well I mean like the sounds are too loud, theres lots of people, or to many.

Intro: Living the Day I’ve Spent Years Capturing

As a photographer, I’ve witnessed tons and tons of love stories unfold! each one unique, and beautiful in their own ways. I’ve cried during strangers’ vows, fluffed countless dresses and ties, tracked down missing boutonnieres, and quietly documented tearful first looks. I thought I knew weddings.

When they reached out about doing a couples session with their dogs while I was visiting Asheville, North Carolina, I was all in. If you didn’t know anything about me, you should know I married a human from Asheville! So It worked out perfectly, I already had plans to visit friends and family in the area (and celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday). Therefore it became a little trip full of joy and silly moments

When Alyssa and O'Shea told me they chose a serene cabin nestled near Mount Rainier in Washington, to celebrate their wedding day I was very excited to be a part of this celebration and union. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family embracing the intimate atmosphere. Truly making the day feel warm and personal. The natural beauty of the location added an authentic and peaceful backdrop to their vows.

Okay, why am I writing this? Because I’m passionate…like, really really passionate….about being an ADHD photographer, living life as a neurodivergent creative, and connecting with others who are in this same, beautifully chaotic boat. We weren’t exactly sure how to pull it off at first, but ZySeer took the lead and reached out to the Tucson Museum of Art, and honestly? BEST. MOVE. EVER. This place may not be an old-school European museum with marble busts and gold frames, but it is full of modern soul, diversity, and just enough edge to make it the perfect backdrop for these two lovebirds.

There’s something incredibly special about getting to photograph people through all the chapters—especially the ones that involve growing bellies, goofy dog energy, and salty wind blowing through your partner’s beard. These are the moments we’ll want to remember: the in-between, the messy, the magic.

This collaboration was more than just a branding session—it was a beautiful intersection of friendship, creativity, and mutual respect. I’m so proud of the images we created together, and even more honored to witness Anna’s incredible work from both sides: as a bride and as her photographer.

Zyseer found me on google, while searching for graduation photographers. And I am so glad she did. She expressed that she really wanted something that was different and unique. She told me her story about being the first in her family to graduate college, and how she is ALSO FROM WASHINGTON. We bonded over our social work careers and our hometowns in washington state.

Many people don’t realize, how hot Washington state can get. But man, did we find out. But In a sun-drenched hiding spot adorned with delicate wildflowers and a soft carpet of grrass. A & B gracefully stepped into their enchanting outdoor session. They asked for a shoot to express a Faery style love. Dressed in less than flowing garments (Including Annie’s wedding dress) that danced with each gentle breeze, they twirled and laughed with pure love for one another. Their infectious joy echoed through the serene woodland.
