The Wrigley Tiny Home | A Riparide Story | Packwood, WA

Have you ever been approached by a company on instagram that wants to work with you? Well, then have you ever been approached by a company that is legit? Well whats the catch right?

Well when a company based out of Australia messages you asking you to work with them in trade for free night stays at airbnb locations around the PNW you get a little curious right? Well I sure was. So I dug a little deeper. What was this all about, well now I know and can tell you so much more.

Riparide is an Australian based company branching out into the PNW to offer unique experiences throughout. Riparide is not just your average Airbnb set up. Riparide started in Australia and branched out into New Zealand to offer their clients with unique B&B style stays along side adventures like paddle boarding, hiking, canoeing and more.

Additionally Riparides listings are created by their storytellers. AKA ME! They select local storytellers to go on staycations to take photos and feature the special features of the b&b’s and areas. So my job is to go on vacation AND have fun.

One of the more special pieces of Riparide is the fact that they hire local photographers to go to local stays. Because face it, we know the areas well, and know what people would like to do over what the internet tells us to do.

So for my first stay I was asked to got to Packwood, WA and stay at the Wrigley tiny home.

So when you book through Riparide you have an opportunity to browse “adventures: and create an itinerary about the adventures you are going to take. So my job is to find those adventures, and go one them. Please visit this link to see the listing through Riparide!

Please check them out because what they are doing is not only giving to the owners of the stays but also to the community of photographers, creatives and adventurers.

Let me tell you a little about our adventure!

I had my best friend of many years join me, which was super special since we hadn’t seen eachther in years. And if you are a twitch watcher, you should watch her channel. FOR SURE. So although this was valentines day weekend we made it a “galentines” weekend. We spent most of our time in the tiny home because many of the roads in Packwood were still closed due to snow. However if you are a skier or snowboarder white pass is so close, and offers great skiing and snowboarding at a great price! In the summer Packwood is right at the foot of mount rainier making it a great home base for hiking, paddle boarding, fishing etc. Packwood brewery was our favorite food stop and it offered great snack options. The best part of Packwood is its small town vibe, no McDonalds, not taco bell, but a brewery and a few restaurants. A great place to truly get away from the hustle and bustle no matter the time of year.

The Wrigley tiny home had the best bed in the world, an amazing gnome scavenger hunt, and a river running through it. The owners were incredibly kind and their pups were super sweet. I am looking forward to having an opportunity to go again once they have created more of their spaces. They have big dreams for the space and I look forward to going again one day.
