Introducing Hybrid Photography:

Enhancing Your Visual Storytelling Experience

I am always aiming to bring the latest trends and innovative techniques to elevate your visual storytelling experience. With that in mind, I are excited to announce the addition of hybrid photography to my wedding photography packages.

What is hybrid photography, you may ask? It is a seamless fusion of both still photography and rolls of vintage film, capturing moments in a truly timeless way. By incorporating this exciting approach, we are able to create a more dynamic and engaging narrative that goes beyond my usual offering.

Why am I adding this now?
At the beginning of finding my passion in photography (and if you’ve read my about me you would know this…) I learned how to capture moments by learning on 35mm film and developing and editing on my own film. And recently, I have found myself drawn to a desire to reconnect with the core of my craft – the essence that first ignited my passion for photography. It gives me the chance to rediscover the joy of capturing unfiltered AND UNEDITED emotions, spontaneous laughter, and the genuine connections that make life truly remarkable. By offering this experience, I hope to provide a glimpse into the raw and authentic moments that often go unnoticed, while immersing myself in the very essence that fuels my creativity and passion.

How many rolls do you go through?

This is hard to determine, because in a wedding day it depends on how long I am there! But ultimately I always bring more rolls than necessary. The thing about film is that you don’t get to delete, and go through each photo you take. It's an exciting authentic experience each time. So each roll has a different amount of images and what you could get is less. That is why I alway make sure film is not the ONLY way I am shooting your wedding.

Do I get just prints, like from CVS?

No! I actually only send the digital copies of the rolls of film, unless otherwise requested. So if you want the printed versions you can totally get them, BUT they won’t be edited in any way. Therefore I make sure to get the digitals first, then make some adjustments then you get them sent with your lovely gallery. Once you’ve seen them you can choose to order prints of them as well. I ALSO have packages that do include print options.

When would you use film over digital?

Just like with any wedding I switch between my cameras often! So there will be a wide variety of moments with both digital and film. If there are snap moments that are happening quickly they will most likely be captured in digital, but take a peek at the wedding below at some ideas of what candid’s and non candids can be captured with film.

What is the cost?

Hybrid wedding options are listed in my pricing packages for weddings. So reach out here for detailed overview of wedding options. But to add film, and make your wedding Hybrid right now starts at $500! *Cost subject to change
