Teresa & Brice | River Valley Oasis | Granite Falls, WA

Ya know when you get blast from the past moments? Well, this was one of them.

Teresa’s name sounded all too familiar when her email popped into my inbox about a year ago. I knew her some how, but how? OH! Middle school. She was someone I regularly hung out with, ate lunch with, went on field trips with throughout middle school, and then occasionally through high school. It was INCREDIBLE to feel reconnected to a younger self. AND even better, was that she was still BEST FRIENDS with her high school besties, making this wedding even more of a blast from the past. Being able to see and reconnect with long disconnected friendships was ADORABLE. But anyways, this isn’t about me. Let’s talk about this incredible alternative styled wedding in the hot summer PNW sun.

Teresa and Brice had an incredibly supportive family that wanted them to have the wedding of their dreams, and man… did they deliver. From Teresa’s black lace bodice from Davids Bridal, the small touches of Harry Potter, and the touches of gold and red in her waterfall bouquet, this wedding SCREAMED “TERESA AND BRICE!!” to the tops of all the Cascade mountain peaks of Washington.

River Valley Oasis was the perfect venue for this couple, the red touches of flowers and linens lining the archway where to DIE FOR. and Of course the smores fire pit! River Valley Oasis owners know how to create a comfortable, private, and romantic setting for their couples. Although the river was too high, having the new of the river behind the ceremony space was SO EPIC.

With threats of clouds, this day turned into a sunny oasis with some nice heat happening towards the end when the party really got roaring. The dance and reception photos may have to be my favorite of the day. Well..maybe not. The whole day was amazing, and delivering the gallery filled my heart with joy! ENJOY!!!
